Kristi Wagner went to the Olympic Games in Tokyo in 2020 as a rower in women's Double Skull and came in fifth place. Now, she's back on her quest to be the best. Kristi has continued her training with the US Rowing team and is now documenting it in a podcast.
Kristi is a graduate of Yale University and is currently the Regatta Director for the Saratoga Rowing Association.
Kristi enjoys coaching, hiking in the Adirondacks, cooking, and reading. She learned to row in middle school, and then rowed for her high school team “Wayland Weston” for 4 years. One of her role models is Michael Jordan.
As Kristi says, “He started as a great individual player, but had to learn how to help make his team great to win all of those championships. He also has a lot of amazing quotes that can serve as quick inspiration on race day.”
Her hobbies include running, eating ice cream, listening to podcasts, and watching documentaries.
